Happy Last Monday of 2013!
Well Shit.
It's really hard to believe that tomorrow is the end of the freaking year.
Wait.
Wasn't the world supposed to have ended a year ago?!
Yeah, that's what I thought.
I wonder how all those crazies that spent their life savings on junk and building fall out zombie shelters are doing now with all those bills racked up and a years supply of spam?
Hmmm.
Well I'm not sure about all of you, but I'd like to say that I've had a pretty damn successful 2013.
I remember sitting around this time last year swearing that was my last fat holiday. That was the last time I was going to let myself feel so bad. I was done being the fat girl. I was going to start the new year out with a bang. I was going to run a 5K and I was going to lose some weight. I didn't think I'd lose much, I had only hoped to get under 200lbs. I was 228 when I actually started keeping track on 1-1-13, but I know between when I got married and to the end of 2012 I had tipped the scale at 240 at some point.
Now I'm sitting here 70lbs lighter, 3 shirt sizes smaller, 5 pants sizes smaller. I have completed 5 5K's, one in which I placed 2nd in my age group. I have been able to help others. Improved my diet and my husbands. I became apart of Mshell Fitness and I started this blog. I'm still surprised daily that people besides my mom actually read this. I want to thank EVERY single one of you for the support, the encouraging words and the reassurance of a job well done. I try my best to connect with y'all. I try to answer as many questions as I can. I'm sorry If I've missed any!
The new me is still a work in progress, I'm still making changes and improving my body. I don't really have a goal weight but my goal instead is to live a healthy and fit life and maintain the weight loss.
Let's do some recappin baby.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your accomplishments of 2013 and I can't wait to see what you do with 2014! You're a huge (well, small now) inspiration to so many of us and I hope that checking out your blog and signing up for your Resolution Revolution will help me with 2014. I'm working on writing my goals out, but not sure where to start or how to space them, so any help you can provide on that would be awesome. I'd also love to see more recipes on your blog. Sometimes, a girl can only Google so many low calorie recipes. :) Great job this year and good luck next! Happy New Year!!
Ef-ing* lol
DeleteI have loved following along with you over the last several months! You have been such an inspiration to me! I actually bought my first bag of steamed veggies yesterday and I don't even like veggies, but I'm ready to start feeling better about myself. 2014 is going to be a GREAT year and I'm happy to be following along on your journey! :) Happy New Year!

Your pictures are inspirational. You make me want to be a better me. I did your (easy) best butt workout. I can't move my legs. The workouts you do must be so hard and I can appreciate it. Good luck in the new year! You will be amazing!
ReplyDeleteI just recently found you through IG and I am so impressed with your determination and progress!! I'm pretty much starting 2014 where you were at last January 1st...and I am so encouraged to know that someone else has been through it too! Can't wait to see what 2014 has in store!
