Workout Routines and 30 Day Challenge

Happy Hump Day!

Did you do any April Fools pranks? I taped poppers (from the 4th of July) to the underside of the toilet seat so it scared the pants off my hubs- bad pun intended.

I've been getting a lot of new followers to my little space on the internet lately, and I've been getting more and more questions about what my workouts were like when I first started, how they transitioned and what I'm doing now. So I wanted to take a bit to go over those and just welcome all the newcomers :)

With that in mind I peaked back at my blog a year ago and around this time I was celebrating the first 30lbs gone...

When I first started to workout, I had no Idea what to do at all. So I downloaded the Couch 2 5K App and I did that program twice. I was running/walking 3 days a week and then the other 4 days I did 30 minutes of ab workouts I found online or made up in my living room. I graduated on to the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, which I did that twice too. I then moved on to doing Shaun T's T25 which lasted 50 Days. After finishing that I then got a gym membership and in December I started following a plan from my trainer. She has me in the gym 5 days a week, beginning with 30 minutes of cardio then lifting for 30-45 minutes or more with each day being a different muscle focus(Back, Chest, Legs, Arms, Shoulders). I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest the 30 day Shred. It is totally awesome, I had great results and it was only 30 minutes a day. See my results HERE

Here are some of my workouts ranging from when I first began to some I still do for fun!

Also I came up with a challenge for April for my Resolution Revolution Ladies, but I did want to share it with you all as well!

The girls in the group are in a contest too, but I want to do a separate contest here too, If you do the challenge then on the last day send my a video of you doing that days moves and KILLING it :) I will put your name in for a drawing and the random winner will get a prize (to be decided, I like to find awesome fitness gear that I know people will love). So get active today, week's half over and I'm in week two of my bikini challenge. Are you doing any challenges? How are they going?

  4. Love the workouts. I'm currently in week 13 of Turbo fire and unfortunately getting a little bored with it. I told myself on January 1st I would do the whole 20 week calendar. This month I added a abs and guns challenge calendar I found on pintrest and doing the. 1800 minute challenge I saw on www.livinginyellow.com
